As part of our ongoing sustainability efforts, we have introduced a refundable beverage token system around the pool areas. This initiative is one of our Green Key objectives and helps reduce single use plastic waste, keeps public areas cleaner and encourages responsible beverage use. By implementing a reusable cup system, we have fulfilled this sustainability criteria and met our environmental commitments as promised. 

You have chosen a Green Key certified establishment. This means that you are automatically helping to preserve the environment, as we meet Green Key’s stringent environmental and sustainability requirements.

We make it easier for you to care for the environment without diminishing your experience and comfort. For instance, while our tap water is safe to use, we encourage you to use the Reverse Osmosis stations available on every floor for your drinking water. This small action helps reduce plastic waste and supports our commitment to sustainability.

Bicycles, public transport, and our free airport shuttle for direct bookings are great environmentally friendly ways to get around. We aim to make your eco-friendly travel easy; check the information in your room, or ask at reception for details about public transport routes, bicycle rentals, and our airport shuttle service.

St. Agatha’s Tower, known as the Red Tower, stands proudly at l-Aħrax tal-Mellieħa on the Marfa Ridge. It offers breathtaking panoramic views over Għadira Bay, the nature reserve, and the strait between Comino and Gozo. Built on the site of a historic watch-post, the tower once played a crucial role in monitoring approaching fleets and maintaining communication between Gozo, Comino, and Mdina. Its strategic position made it an essential part of Malta's coastal defense network.

St. Paul's Islands (Il-Gżejjer ta' San Pawl) are a small group of islands located off the coast of Qawra, near the town of St. Paul's Bay in Malta. These islands hold historical significance, as they are traditionally believed to be the site where the Apostle Paul was shipwrecked around AD 60, according to biblical accounts in the Acts of the Apostles. 

The larger of the islands features a statue of St. Paul that commemorates this event. While uninhabited and rugged, the islands are a popular spot for boat tours and offer great opportunities for diving and snorkeling, thanks to their clear waters and rich marine life. The surrounding area is known for its scenic beauty, with stunning views back toward the Maltese mainland.
