How Our Water is Produced
Rather than relying solely on external water supplies, our hotels produce drinking water using a Reverse Osmosis (RO) desalination system.
This advanced treatment process transforms seawater into clean, safe drinking water through several carefully controlled stages:
- Desalination: Seawater passes through specialised reverse osmosis membranes that remove dissolved salts, minerals and impurities.
- pH Balancing: The purified water is adjusted to ensure the correct pH level for both quality and taste.
- Disinfection: The water is carefully chlorinated to provide lasting protection against microorganisms.
- Storage & Distribution: The treated water is stored in dedicated reservoirs before being distributed throughout the hotel.
Every stage of the process is routinely monitored by our technical team as part of our comprehensive Water Quality Management Programme, ensuring that the water supplied across the hotel consistently meets the European Directives on the quality of water intended for human consumption as well as the local regulations L.N. 297 of 2023
