Posted on: December 07, 2015 Donation of food hampers to Mellieha families in need Christmas tree lighting, warm mince pies and mulled wine where the elements that marked the beginning of our festive season at our resort. All our guests were invited to our lobby on St. Nicholas Day before their dinner and participation with the lighting of the Christmas tree. Our team of chefs surprised all with the preparation of a large ginger bread village which also included a special dedication to our chef, Stephanie Sammut, who recently passed away earlier this year. For this special occasion, the management invited the Mellieha parish priest who had the honour to unveil the ginger bread village and the Christmas crib. He also received 15 hampers from db Seabank Management for him to pass on to local families in need, so they can enjoy a real Christmas Lunch. The management also invited an orphaned child to join us for the evening celebrations, she was also greeted with Christmas presents which where personally done by our resort staff.
